  What started out as a negative experience for me tonight was turned into a very positive one. We ordered a sharing platter that included a peanut flavoured dip and my friend is allergic to peanuts. It did not include this on the menu which is a fault that needs to be rectified by Steam and Rye. However, during her reaction, the whole situation was handled amazingly. The restaurant manager suggested to call an ambulance, but due to it not being a serious reaction we decided just to make our way to A&E. The restaurant manager called a cab and paid for it.
  
  Once I had sorted my friend out and sent her home to her husband, I came back to join my friends at Steam & Rye, to find that the whole bill had been sorted and the friends I had left behind had been treated like queens the whole time I was gone.
  
  Kudos to the restaurant manager who prompted us to go to the A&E rather than not bother about it. Also to the extra added touches of customer service. It was all very well received and very much appreciated.
