  My name is Brendan Greally. About 5 years ago in desperation I paid a deposit for a flat attached to Quinns car rental hire for a pregnant girl friend....part of the car business. I think it was about £500. My gf upon inspection found it flea ridden and many other extremely unhappy tenants who were trying to get out but such is the market unless you are BRITISH (you need guarantors etc). So I came back a couple hours later to beg the deposit back- or at least the bulk of it... and it told me to "Fk off" knowing full well I'm an immigrant. Then i sat in the office and did a silent vigil- just sat and waited for some courtesy and he sent around a thug to beat me up and drag me around the office. I was crying on the floor bruised and beaten and rang the police. Two officers came and told me they would arrest him. Then something strange happened, a swarve young cop arrived and joined him, and threatened to have me arrested (??!!) unless I withdraw all charges (?!) I told him I was the one beaten up-- he explained that Mr Quinn did what was necessary to protect his money as you were trying to steal and cause damage. I said this is a set up- and sure it was! Then this swarve cop offered 100£ if I go, then £150, then 200£ if i withdraw charges and go. I said I want my £500- its mine- I had the paper proof. The cop said its kept as a bond. I said that without it i am homeless so i might as well camp here. The cop then dragged me off to jail where i spent the next 24 hours in a small cell. They took photos for my bruises- but never arrested him! Then i could only get out if i signed a a statement to say I would never go within a half mile of Quinn or try to contact him. I did make a police complaint a few times- but never managed to give them a precise date and cross the "t"- and they denied that any officer (the swarve one ) was involved. They say the initial two officers were the only ones. I write this to warn people about Quinn manager, the whole business and building. I believe that Quinn is protected by thugs and corrupt police contacts and takes advantage of all immigrants- note that all the poor reviews are by immigrants- they are the ones who are vulnerable, Mr Quinn knows this- and takes advantage of this. ..his staff include the thug who dragged and kicked me around in that office
