  I received a "Statement of Account"stating that I had missed payments AND demanded that I settled the account in full! As I didn't know who they were, I "Googled" them and found out that they were a debt collection agency. Their Customer Service skills are "non-existent" as they do NOT listen to customers and just read off their crib sheet
  
  They attach themselves to your credit reference record by stating that you have missed payments which gives you a bad record when, in fact, your payments with the original company you took the debt out with are up to date! According to several companies they are a legitimate company and am having no hesitation in taking them to the Financial Ombudsman AND Small Claims Court for deformation of character
