  The main embassy number just let's you talk to a robot and doesn't redirect the caller to a phone line which would actually let you talk to a human. Other numbers on the website also aren't helpful as there is nobody there to answer the phone. I actually made time to visit the embassy to try and get an appointment to renew my passport (which seems to be a pretty basic task, do I really need an appointment for this?) with no luck. I never got given one as it seemed to be impossible for the worker on the other end to assign a slot unless I called through one of the numbers on the website (which never get answered) and best of all - they didn't even bother to open the door and give a face to face explanation. Extremely poor service and no respect for people's time.
