  This used to be one of the best pubs in England. When a greedy developer closed it for years and destroyed the amazing Victorian/ Edwardian internals. Now inside look quite cold and uninteresting. Still great location. Great food and better service. It is quite busy these days (another greedy developer took control of the other pub in the area). It is a shame that the council allowed flats on top of this pub (and the NIMBY's complains that it cause) limiting the enjoying of one of the few remaining pubs in the area. Please visit, enjoy the food and great variety of beers before this one disappear as well
