  The cenotaph a structure that gets forgotten about by the general tourist.
  Right next to Downing Street and close to the back of new Scotland Yard this monolith rise from the street in eerie light
  
  Original erected for a replacement of the temporary structure at the peace parade in 1920 it has gone on to be the heart of the UK’s remembrance services. As such it’s one of the few structures on a road centre you can get close to.
  
  Easy walk from Whitehall underground station make it easy for anyone with mobility issues to get to.
  
  If your going to Whitehall then make it a stop on the way to no10 ,just to see the fine detail of the carving that don’t show on tv.
