This review is copied from Their Facebook page..........

I live in Ashford Kent (80 miles away), I looked at their Facebook Page this morning at 11am and it looked like they were doing good deals and had a wide variety of Power chairs etc.
As I live so far away I telephoned the shop and discussed my situation with the Salesman and explained I had very recently bought a "Stirling Diamond" road worthy scooter which was in fantastic condition. But my situation had changed and I needed a scooter or power chair that met the size requirements to travel on the Trains from Kent to London. He informed me that he had a load that met the required size and then I explained that the scooter I had was almost new and was the 8mph model etc and he seemed very interested in it. I informed him that we were unable to afford any additional payment but would be willing to accept a straight swap on a suitable model and we were prepared to accept a loss between our Buggy and the replacement to which he said "not a problem, we can sort something. We drove the 80 miles (1hr 45min) to the Shop in Barnet.
The Gentleman welcomed me and my wife when we walked in and I introduced us as the People from Ashford Kent. He seemed a friendly chap and showed us two secondhand power chairs that were about £650 and £1,010, and indicated the boot scooters he had in stock where not suitable as my disability is Spinal related and they have solid tyres and no suspension.
At this point I thought ouch, we have a round trip of 160 miles to look at two power chairs. But I did not say a word! I then showed him a set of pictures I had on my phone to show a couple of minor scratches on the left front wing, as it was raining outside and we would be soaked., and he then said "hold on I will get you a price for yours. I was surprised at his comment as we had told him our buggy was just in the Car Park next door to the shop and he had not even looked at it He walked out to the rear of the shop and returned a few minutes later and said "okay we will give you £150 for your scooter". I turned to him and said we discussed this on the phone and I had said I could only afford a straight swap not lose over £800 in a couple of months AND pay another £200 on top for another secondhand buggy. We had as I mentioned earlier discussed that we had no additional money and was looking for a straight swap, he just shrugged his shoulders.
So because of his dishonesty I wasted around 4.5 hours and used the fuel for a round trip of 160 miles. I accept business is slow for many people at this time, but to give me the impression that we could do a "deal" and allow me to assume that a deal was on as there is no way in the world I would have travelled that distance.
Had the Salesperson had been more forthcoming I would have not made the journey.
Anyone considering to deal with this Shop may I please forewarn you, here are a list of things I would recommend doing before telephoning them for a purchase enquiry etc.
1, do your research on line so you can be sure you know what questions to ask
2, Record the conversation as they may dispute what their salesperson has said
3, if you go to the shop ensure you are dealing with a person that is knowledgable (which my salesman was)
4, Ask as many questions as possible
5, and most importantly take a suitable witness with you to confirm any discussion!
The Proprietor telephone me this morning to inform me that my review was unfair and not totally correct, it was the Mechanic that dealt with me. And that I had assumed too much and I should have the wording correct etc.
He was a very well educated person and was polite, he told me he wanted to give me a "goodwill offer" which was very reasonable and unexpected so again I will say Thank You David, but I have refused it and asked politely if he wanted to he could make a donation to mencap. The telephone conversation lasted 51 minutes and I was exhausted when we finished,
At no point was their any acceptance of fault on their behalf, and no form of apology.
