  I'm amazed at the 1 star review below! This person has clearly not met the owner - who is Pam - note the female name... Pam is an extraordinarily welcoming person who I have witnessed numerously accommodating young mums with prams. Her attention to customer service is 2nd to none - I have never seen Tea Darling get a review so unpleasant!
  Pam has run this tea room with great love & care for nearly a year, it is a wonderful addition to what is a lovely theatre and so much better that the many faceless (& more expensive) corporates around.
  It seems you didn't actually have any tea and/or cake? This could have been a reason why you were not afforded the usual customer service - you were not a customer!
  Despite the lovely surroundings, Pam does actually need to sell her delicious offerings. If you just invaded the area to sit about with no intention of purchasing anything, any business would be sensible to question your presence in favour of paying custom.
  Maybe you could come to the tearoom and have tea, not forgetting yummy cake, and then may feel differently.
  Pam, I'm sure you read your reviews: usually amazing - so don't change a thing!!
