  Quite a spacious library. Good lighting and design. There is a social area on the ground floor with a cafe to buy food items and there is good accessibility to the other floors. I wish there was more laptop space on the adult floor though.

  Probably the noisiest library I’ve ever experienced. Very distracting. Building is cool, but wide open space in the middle means you can hear EVERYTHING, from the busy kids’ space to the first floor cafe. Then there’s the people talking on cell phones or to each other in the “quiet study” area on top floor. Or the guy on the second floor munching loudly on crisps or something, and another woman having a loud cell phone conversation on that floor. Why would anyone think that was appropriate in a library? Just look around at people reading and studying. Be aware of your surroundings. Didn’t work for me, but probably nice for young kids.
